Praying for my ND friends...

What a week for you guys. There are many you tube videos out there, but this one was my favorite, especially because it is one of my very favorite songs, sung by Chris Tomlin.

When the blizzards have hit ND, and when the flood rumors started, we were SO happy that we moved before such a crummy winter.

Then the water started hitting my brother, our friends, my dad helped with the guards, Linton flooded....and it was all over the news of the amazing stories of that ND work ethic that is unlike anything else in the country. Phil and I were filled with sadness we weren't there to help. Pride to be from there. Homesickness. Crankiness towards the people here- we got 3 inches of snow yesterday and everyone here is complaining about the weather, that is is snowing in March. I understand that it is a bummer here. But it is paradise here compared to what you guys have had to deal with. And seriously, today it was 50* and the snow is mostly melted.

As gross and the weather is...and as shocking as it was to go home from spring break to -20* and blizzarding... you guys can teach the entire country how to get the job done, how to take care of your community, and how to not whine while doing it. Kudos to you that have sandbagged or babysat kids so others can. You are all in our prayers for the next week.
